Robertson and Co provide specialized expert loss adjusting service to the Insurance market. We have worked in over 90 countries worldwide and for many different Insurance companies. Robertson and Co are completely independent and are therefore able to provide a fair and balanced adjustment to both the Insured and Insurers.
Being based in Switzerland we are centrally located in the heart of Europe, within easy reach of global destinations. Over the years we have developed and maintained a network of specialist engineers and engineering firms that we have trained in the Loss Management Plan (LMP) methodology.
Robertson and Co are different to the majority of loss adjusting firms in that we take a proactive and management style approach to adjusting losses. One of these approaches, the Loss Management Plan, is particularly well suited to large losses (over US$50million). A significant part of the success of an LMP is the accurate preparation of an Agreed Scope of Damage, Priced Scope of Damage and Common Cause Report. The approach is often copied in the Insurance market, but its implementation is poor.
Robertson and Co of course also manage smaller losses for the Insurance market, however a full Loss Management Plan is not economic on smaller losses, but a similar proactive approach can still be taken.
